About Toni
I am a clinical nutritionist dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals using a holistic whole-body approach.
I am passionate about female hormones, gut health, thyroid health and fertility. From my personal experience with gut health issues, thyroid imbalances and autoimmune diseases, I understand the importance of optimal gut health for treating diseases. My health journey lead me to become a nutritionist, graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutritional & Dietetic Medicine).
I've always had an interest in food, even from a young age cooking and experimenting in the kitchen, with one of my fondest memories from my teenage years cooking apple pie with my best friend at 10pm. I'm a strong believer in the healing power of food and food as medicine for healing aliments. I embrace a balanced approach to living and eating, consuming healthy, wholesome foods 80% of the time and foods that make you feel happy and nourished the remainder of the time.
I work with individuals on a one to one basis, bringing together evidence based practices, traditional medicine and food as medicine for a holistic approach to understand the root causes impacting their digestive health and overall wellbeing. A detailed assessment based on the clients condition, presenting complaints, personal and family medical history, along with genetics, environment, diet, lifestyle and biochemistry are all considered. A personalised treatment plan is developed based around educating the client with the prescription of supplements where required.
Depending on the individuals needs and current state of health, functional pathology testing may be performed to understand the changes on a biochemical and physiological level to help identify the root cause of the disease and to return the body to its natural balance.
